πΊ Beer Mile Rules
The beer mile is simple: 4 beers + 4 laps = 1 mile. To keep it fair, here are the official rules:
- Each competitor drinks 4 cans or bottles of beer (12 oz minimum) and runs 4 laps around a standard track (beer, lap, beer, lap, beer, lap, beer, lap β finish).
- Beer must be finished in the designated transition area before starting each lap.
- The first beer is consumed on the starting line in the transition zone to ensure a full mile.
- Women drink the same amount: 4 beers + 4 laps.
- No special cans or wide-mouth bottles allowed that give an unfair chugging advantage.
- Beers must be standard fermented brews β no hard ciders, sodas, or sweet drinks.
- Each beer can/bottle must remain sealed until you enter the transition area.
- Any competitor who vomits must run a penalty lap after their 4th lap (only one penalty lap required, even if it happens more than once).
- Participants must sign a waiver and provide their own 4 beers. No outside alcohol is permitted other than those used in the race.
π© Donut Mile Rules
Prefer sweets over sips? The donut mile is just as easy (and messy!): 4 donuts + 4 laps = 1 mile.
- Eat 1 donut in the transition area, then run a lap β repeat until 4 donuts and 4 laps are completed.
- All donuts must be eaten completely before setting off on each lap.
- Competitors who vomit must complete one penalty lap at the end (only one, no matter how many times).
